Shortbread Biscuits

Try these Delicious Shortbread Biscuits you can share with friends, neighbours and whanau.

Ingredients

  • 250g softened Butter

  • 3/4 cup icing sugar

  • 1/2 cup cornflour

  • 1 1/2 cups flour

 

Method

  • Cream the butter and icing sugar until pale and fluffy.

  • Mix in cornflour and flour until the mixture comes together and forms a dough.

  • Roll out dough to 1cm thick and cut into shapes using cookie cutters.

  • Place on a tray covered in baking paper or non-stick baking mat abnd bake 25-30minutes or until shortbread is pale but crisp.

  • Cool on a wire rack.

  • Decorate with coloured Icing or dust with Icing Sugar.
